Solid Surface Shop Builder / Fabricator - 1st Shift

Builders are responsible for the hand-building of countertops including customization of buildup strips, miter folds, glue and color matching. Materials include Solid Surface Materials such as Corian.

Responsibilities Include:

Read and interpret plans/prints to produce countertops within tolerances and specifications; table saw, power saw, miter saw, routers, and hand tools of various sizes; use glues and caulks to join seams and parts.

Qualifications/Skills Requirements Include:

Cabinetry, Carpentry, or building experience preferred; solid surface and/or Countertop experience a plus; Basic reading, writing, and math skills; Read prints, plans, tape measure; Self-Starter; Detail Oriented; Heavy lifting; standing position for entire working time of shift.

Schedule:

Full-Time position, 6am start time

• TEMPORARY HOURS DUE TO PANDEMIC:
  Ten (10) hour workdays Monday through Thursday of each week. Overtime/potential Friday work as needed.
• REGULAR SCHEDULE ONCE WE RESUME FRIDAY OPERATIONS:
  Eight (8) hour workdays Monday through Friday of each week, with overtime required as needed due to production demands.
