Residential Installation Assistant
Responsible for the installation of stone and solid surface countertops and related products at job sites as assigned. As the assistant, you will be working with a lead installer to ensure the job is completed in a top-quality and timely manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install countertops, sinks, shower systems, and other related products at customer locations in accordance with industry procedures and standards.
- Place and level tops, caulk seams, cut pieces, and do simple fabrication on-site to make adjustments in order to complete jobs as needed.
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

- Other duties as assigned by Lead Installer or Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- MUST have and maintain a valid and current unrestricted driver's license with reasonable driving history, (such as no major infractions in the past 5 years).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card. (CDL not needed).
- Must be able to routinely perform physical requirements of the position, including the ability to team lift stone countertops from floor to waist heights (well over 100+ lbs.) on a regular basis, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, standing, and other physical demands are required.
- Must be able to accurately measure, use angle grinder, saws, and other hand tools, etc.
- Dependable and reliable, including reporting to work on time every day.
- Must be able to work flexible hours (variable end time) and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to start and end each workday at our location in Hastings, MN.
- Box truck driving experience is a plus.
- Some carpentry, installation, or other hand-building-related experience is highly preferred.
Schedule:
- Installation teams start their day at our facilities in Hastings, MN no later than 6:30 am, Monday through Friday. End times vary. Weekends and holidays off. Availability for weekend overtime on occasion on a voluntary basis.
