Drafter

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Create AutoCAD drawings based on templates/architectural plans.
• Work with Estimating and Measuring departments to create accurate final drawings for production.
• Customer interactions for drawing for approval and slab layouts.
• Program parts for CNC machines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/ Experience Requirements:

• Degree or certification through a technical school in drafting/AutoCAD preferred.
• Previous work experience with AutoCAD experience can be a substitute for a degree or certificate.
• Experience or knowledge in the kitchen and bath industry, building industry, or countertops is strongly preferred.

Skills / Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret commercial and residential prints.
• Driven to be detail oriented and maintain a consistent level of accuracy with drawings.
• Must have strong proofreading skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot in a deadline-driven work environment.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently, while also being an essential contributor within the department.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interface professionally & respectfully with staff.

Work Schedule: Day shift Monday through Friday of each week, with overtime as required.
