Residential Kitchen & Bath and Interior Design Account Representative

Responsible for the promotion and sale of services and products offered by Innovative Surfaces, Inc. to the Kitchen & Bath Dealer, Interior Design, and luxury design build  market segments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

Represent Innovative Surfaces with the highest level of professionalism and exceptional customer service;  Provide existing customer base with sales support and updates.  Identify and pursue further opportunities within the existing customer base; Build customer base with a primary focus on Kitchen & Bath Dealer and Interior Design firms; Serve as a liaison between the customer and the Innovative Surfaces team; Maintain minimum customer visit frequency standard as established by Innovative Surfaces’ management; Coordinate and Provide customer training on products and services offered by Innovative Surfaces; Participate in strategic sales planning activities; Attend industry association and customer events as applicable (will include occasional evenings); Act as “in-house” industry expert on given market segments.

Education/ Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of outside sales/B2B experience in a related industry required; Prior industry-related experience required; Post-Secondary Certificate or Degree Preferred; Prior product knowledge/exposure preferred.

Required Qualifications:

Must have exceptional interpersonal communication and presentation skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills: Must be able to convey sometimes complex information clearly and simply.  Must have the ability to read your audience to determine the level of detail needed in communication; Self-motivated and Outgoing personality; Strong organizational skills; Good risk assessment and troubleshooting skills; Ability to adapt and to work with a team; Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to difficult situations. Ability to read residential prints and cabinet drawings; Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office products, etc.); Have and maintain a current driver’s license with a respectable driving history.

Work Schedule

Workdays Monday through Friday of each week, expectations of working an average of approximately 40-45 hours per week. Flexibility with scheduling including the ability to attend occasional industry events.
